  • At OLIVIA, the majority of our roles are full-time, and we actively encourage our clients to offer full-time positions to ensure job security for our VAs. While part-time opportunities for Home Care VA roles are less common, they do pop up occasionally based on client needs.


    For Bookkeepers, the availability of part-time roles is determined by each client's specific schedule requests and the volume of tasks required. We’re here to help you find the right fit that works for both you and our clients!

  • While VAs are generally expected to provide their own equipment, we're more than happy to recommend the necessary setup to ensure your success!


    At a minimum, VAs should have the following equipment to excel in their roles:


    • A reliable laptop or desktop computer

    • High-speed internet connection

    • Backup internet sources

    • Noise-canceling headphones with a microphone

    • Webcam for video calls

    • Up-to-date software for communication and task management

    • A comfortable and quiet workspace to help you focus and thrive

    • A generator or alternative power source for power interruptions


    With the right tools at your fingertips, you'll be well-equipped to make a meaningful impact as a Home Care Virtual Assistant!

  • While our training is unpaid, it only takes about 8 business days to complete. It's a valuable investment in your future, providing you with the essential skills and knowledge to thrive as a Home Care VA. Plus, our training is like no other! We create a positive and engaging learning environment because we understand that your time is valuable, and we want to make this experience both enjoyable and enriching. With or without Home Care VA experience, we will definitely prepare you for your client! You'll be supported every step of the way, ensuring you're fully ready for long-term success with U.S.-based clients. Think of it as the foundation for a rewarding career!

  • Home Care VA Training typically runs from 8:00 PM to 2:30 AM Philippine Standard Time. Any changes in the schedule will be announced in advance so that you can adjust accordingly. We hope this information helps you prepare your body clock!

  • Most positions are typically night shifts to align with U.S. hours, tailored to the specific needs of our clients. This means your schedule will vary based on the time and days that clients require support from their VAs. We aim to provide flexibility while ensuring our VAs can effectively meet client needs.

  • OLIVIA is a U.S.-based company located in Maryland, with a strong presence in the Philippines, offering remote work opportunities to VAs from the Philippines .
